Slowly, surely…

I knew it was going to be difficult: it’s already been three weeks since my last post! But I’ve already received my first comment although I was sure that no-one had even noticed my tiny blog. How fantastic to read such encouraging words, thank’s a million Tiffini! Her work is amazing, by the way. I’ve been thinking that I’d like to order an optical lens necklace from her at some point. I’ll just have to decide what sort of image I would like to have in it…

What have I been doing lately? Well, I went to see Depeche Mode live two weeks ago as their “Playing the Angel” tour reached Finland! That was a lot of fun. Although I’m not a huge fan of their latest album, the concert was great as they played a lot of their old tunes as well. My heart was about to melt when I heard the intro of for example “Shake the Desease” or “Behind the Wheel”! It was incredibly nostalgic and a great reminder of how much I love some of their songs. And how wonderful that the band is still together!

Today was great as I had the chance to spend it with my best friend who I hadn’t really seen much for a while. We visited the Alfons Mucha exhibition at Amos Anderson Museum in Helsinki! I was really excited about this exhibition as I’ve visited the absolutely fantastic Mucha Museum in Prague two times during the last five years. Now it was so wonderful to see a huge collection of his works in Finland! Oh, those colours, those decorations and the overall magic of that man’s style! I quite simply adore it.

After the exhibition we went to eat at a nice new restaurant and even did a bit of shopping afterwards. We both ended up buying some cute sandals for summer and a great Mucha-book from the museum shop. Just lovely!
