Spring studio

I know I’ve been a really lazy blogger but all I can say is that I’ve just really needed a break. It’s no use writing if one doesn’t feel like it. I haven’t written or much visited blogs during the last couple of months, there have been so many other things to occupy my thoughts. And although it may seem as if I haven’t been up to any jewellery at all, that’s not the case.

The fact that our building is undergoing a very Long, Noisy, Dusty, Wrapped-in-Plastic and Generally Annoying renovation of the facade and windows, has brought on a surprisingly enchanting chain reaction. The result is that I now have a wonderful new studio space, away from the corner of our apartment, something that I’ve quietly longed for since I can remember. It might be just a temporary thing but well, we’ll see what happens after June. For the time being I’m just taking it in and enjoying what I have: a lovely little room with particularly beautiful light even on a cloudy day and a huge desk all to myself by the window. Freedom.

New studio

The company that I keep in this altogether very large, shared studio space is rather jaw-dropping and makes me blush from time to time. Six fantastic photographers SO worth checking out and I’m sure some of you already have… Finnish photographic art ROCKS!
