Take it Easy

I haven’t really stocked up on jewellery materials for quite a long time but next week I’m most definetly going to do so… in LONDON! Travelling with my fantastically like-minded friend, I’ll be sure to stock up on grand inspiration as well. Welcome, 4-day mini holiday with your sophisticated afternoon tea in Knightsbridge, theatre night at the Royal Haymarket, Anthropologie in Regent Street, Covent Garden shopping, Keats House in Hampstead… Read more

Herbal Garden is back

Oh, you people with your green thumbs who manage to harvest herbs and flowers in the tiniest spaces even in the city, even in winter. I’m not one of you but you certainly inspire me! Herbal Garden 2 bracelet

Voice of the River

I’m in such a melancholic but giggly, teary-eyed but happy, post-Flow Festival emptiness, last days of vacation and missing my summer hideaway in the country -mode that I’d best not say anything else but just post a few pics. Familiar but new, Voice of the River. Voice of the River earrings Voice of the River short necklace. Full view here. Voice of the River bracelet. Detail views here and here.

Summer studio

I’m currently spending my summer holidays in the country and despite the +30 degrees in the shade I’ve managed to conjure up some new pieces. This is just a sneak peek though. I’m going to Helsinki for a few days next week and I’ll take some “official” photos there, so I’m hoping to display those soonish. In the meantime, I’m just sending some warm greetings from my summer studio :).

Trixie

All that jazz and then some! The Trixie series has been created around a handful of vintage mother of pearl and black, faceted glass beads. Some new czech glass , pearls and silver findings have been added to build a harmonious union of the old and the new. Black and white is a colour palette that I haven’t really been familiar with in the past, but even though the summer… Read more

Everyday Poetry

Finally something new and more on the way as well. When inspiration strikes after a long break it makes one wonder where on earth it could have been all these months!?! The joy of creating is back! Some strikingly gorgeous freshwater pearls, vintage chain, Swarovski dazzle and a hint of black equals a series of one-off pieces by the name of Everyday Poetry. Everyday Poetry short necklace. Set in Stone

I have always had a soft spot for these pretty antique patinated brass dragonflies. It seems to me that they go with almost anything and bring delightful whimsy to earrings in particular. This time these winged beauties team up with both the rough and the smooth, a contrast that I like to include in most of my pieces. The oval jasper stones are rugged and mismatched but naturally unique and… Read more

Peacock

Just as you thought I had gone for good… Well, I haven’t. It’s just that sometimes one really needs a break. Nothing quite new to show just yet but I did work up a new pair of some of my personal favourite earrings, the 1935, this time in a colour palette that brings to mind the peacock’s feathers…
