I’ve finally made it past a certain deadline that was keeping me away from jewellery making! To get myself going again I’ve been mainly creating variations out of a few simple, familiar styles that I’ve liked in the past. I have a ton of new ideas as well but I’m lacking some vital elements like clasps at the moment so they’ll have wait a little longer. Oh, how I wish I had a proper studio space! Now there’s materials scattered around our small apartment and I keep dropping tiny beads on the floor and losing them all the time!

Inez. Finally got round to using some of the cute chips my friend brought from Argentina. I love this soft yellow aragonite and the translucent, green glass beads. The background image is yet another piece of vintage sheet music. and what a find it was! The cover features a beautiful b&w face shot of Audrey Hepburn and the song is entitled “Lumous” (“Fascination”) from the 1957 film “Love in the Afternoon”. Looks like the film has received a great rating on IMDB, so I hope to come across it at some point, too…

Petal. I seem to have a thing for cloisonne beads and this particular type of necklace… I also made one in red&green. I’m thinking I should have a common name for all the necklaces of this style. The ones with cloisonne pendants I’ve been calling Petal but still I’d like to come up with a name that would represent all of them, no matter what the pendant was. Any suggestions?

Then I used the same cloisonnes for a couple of bracelets. Just easy summer jewellery…

Finally, a necklace in one of my favourite colour combinations. I called it Arabianna, like the bracelet I made over a year ago already. My blog turned one year old some time ago and I didn’t even notice it. I can’t believe I’ve managed to keep it up as I lose interest in so many things after a short time. But I’m happy to be here still! Thanks for all of your encouraging words over the last 14 months! 🙂
Speechless, me! Your style is just so appealing to me 🙂
Specially that new ‘Petal’, blue one, is delicious!

That same happened to me, about the blog and about the persistence on a new area… Congrat to both of us 😉
j’aime tes associaions de couleurs et tes créations sont très élégantes
vraiment c’est un plaisir pour les yeux
Each piece is lovely, but ‘Inez’ stole my heart and made me yearn for some yellow beads 🙂
Congrats on your blog’s anniversary! I lost interest in blogging after about year and a half, but I really hope you do not; your work is so inspiring!
This is absolutely amazing! I love the colours, they are different and match together perfectly!
Keep on going, your jewellerys are beautiful.
Best wishes,
