Malju bracelet

Very special bracelet from Oblivion collection.

The focal point of this bracelet is a vintage (possibly Art Nouveau) decorative, intricately made steel link, whose original purpose has been to secure a chain detail for a traditional folk costume. The Finnish word for this specific item is malju.

Attached to the malju is a string of vintage and new black Czech glass beads carefully wrapped with silver wire, and tassels made with vintage steel chain. A cute antique key adds to the mystery. Toggle clasp and findings are sterling silver.

Length 19cm. Length can be added or taken out upon request at no extra cost. Just let me know if you need adjusting!
