Unique necklace from Women in Art collection, inspired by Danish silent era actress Asta Nielsen.

S t u n n i n g antique lace appliqué that I have bought from Stockholm years ago (probably salvaged from a piece of clothing), double strand of black czech glass beads, and very tiny antique silver foil glass seed beads. The teardrop shaped czech glass beads with a copper coloured lining are vintage from 1930s, previously unused so they are as new. Clasp and findings are silver.
Length of necklace approx. 49cm, size of lace approx. 10 x 10cm. I can add an extension chain to the necklace if you wish, for adjusting the length to your liking.

This delicately handcrafted necklace has an unusual, fascinating and unique appearance. I would perhaps mainly recommend wearing it so that the lace part lays on top of clothing. It would look stunning on for example a black, brown, cream or olive green top. Needless to say, it is an entirely one of a kind, special piece.
