Old Hollywood brooch + chain necklace

This stunning necklace for Temps Perdu collection is giving strong old Hollywood vibes.

This necklace is a real multi-tasker. The base is a triple chain made with two types of really great previously unused vintage brass chains from the 1960s, with a few freshwater pearls wrapped on it using gold fill wire.

The wonderful vintage pearl (pearlized glass pearls) brooch is in fantastic condition. All the pearls are in place and the clasp is functioning well. The largest pearl in the middle has minor signs of wear on the surface but nothing major. The brooch is very much Miriam Haskell (legendary American jewellery designer) style, but it can't be that as it's stamped "France" at the back. I would estimate it's perhaps from the 1940-50s or so anyway and made in France.

You can wear the brooch and chain together as a statement necklace by attaching the brooch on the part of the chain where the three chains are "snatched" together. IT's very stable and elegant like that. Actually, you can also attach almost any other brooch on the chain necklace in this same way.

Both brooch and chain necklace can also we worn separately. The necklace alone would be great for layering with other necklaces, and the brooch alone or together in a group of brooches. It's a very versatile and absolutely unique piece. Just wow.

The brooch is aproximately 40-45mm in diameter. The length of the chain is such that it rests comfortably on the décolté.
