Par Avion long earrings

Par Avion styles are an hommage to the art of handwritten letters. Necklaces and matching earrings are available as separate listings in the BLU collection.

These earrings feature kind of boho, very old and slightly rugged, clearly handmade glass beads that I have salvaged from an approximately 1930s broken necklace. The depth of the blue in these beads is hypnotic and the whole piece is a bit like something that was washed away and now magically reappeared somewhere else. The smaller beads are vintage murano glass beads from the 1970s, highligting the allure of the blues even further and creating an artful, autumnal colour palette. Strands on beautiful vintage 1960s brass chain is added for length.

Wrapped carefully with 18k gold plated brass wire, and the hooks are gold plated surgical steel.

Full length of earrings about 7cm, it's a comfortable and versatile fit.
