Planetaria earrings

Oblivion collection returns in with a new set of beautiful strangers.

These adorable earrings feature vintage Japanese glass baubles in the nocturnal shade of blue with hazy, swirly patterns. Each bead is unique with slightly different swirls, their size approximately 12mm in diameter. The 1970s vintage brass chain* is draped to form a kind of tassle, and the little vintage crystal glass beads are wrapped with gold fill wire. 

Earring hooks are entirely allergy safe niobium. 

Full length 10cm.

Despite their length and size these earrings are comfortable to wear and have a flattering shape. The chain has enough weight so it just elegantly sways about but will not get tangled or messy! I see a dreamy, celestial, uplifting vibe in these.

Very limited availability, I only have a few of these rare glass beads. Very special with a touch of mystery from the earth and sky.

*Vintage brass chain comes as "new old stock" from the legendary old Aarikka factory that was located in Helsinki's Vallila district from the 1950s until 2017. I have been able to date this chain all the way to the 1970s. The quality is amazing and the chain drapes like a dream, making it versatile and a joy to both use as a maker and wearer.
