Poudre 2-string bracelet

This delicate bracelet for Temps Perdu collection adds a touch of romance to your life.

The pearls of this bracelet used to be in a multi-layered necklace from approximately 1930s. It was shattered to pieces but it was impossible to ignore the although worn, still adorable powdery toned pearls, so I took what I could and created "Poudre" bracelets. This one has two strings of pearls (=pearlized glass) and some clear aqua blue and champagne tone Czech glass beads for contrast. Between each bead is a tiny vintage silver foil glass seed bead for added airiness of the design, not to mention the dangly drops near the clasp. The beads are carefully wrapped with silver wire.

A clasp from another vintage necklace was beyond repair as it was but the beautifully detailed "box" part of the clasp became a decorative link to this bracelet. The actual clasp of the bracelet is stainless steel and due to its claw mechanism, allows for an adjustable bracelet length.

Length currently 18cm. If this is too short for you, let me know and I can add 1-1,5cm length at no extra charge! Please note that the beads in this slim bracelet are only approx. 3-4mm in size and the bracelet lies quite flat on the wrist. It doesn't require much space, unlike a bracelet with larger beads would.

Please handle this piece with gentle care, so that when you are not wearing it, keep it safe in its pouch and separate from other jewellery to avoid scratching. Also avoid spraying perfume of hairspray on it. See more jewellery care instructions here!
