Star That You Are necklace

Welcome to 1930s Paris.

This necklace for time traveling features a vintage Art Deco brass star, stamped at an old jewellery factory and never used before now. I found it from an antique market in Paris last year and now it shines as the centerpiece of a unique necklace.

Vintage (from the 1970s but also never before used) chain* is draped to complement the look with vintage Czech crystal beads wrapped with gold fill wire bring a delicate shimmer. The smooth chain has a comforting weight so that this necklace rests very comfortably on the décolleté. It might surprise you but this treasure could also be worn as a hair piece with the aid of a few hairpins.

Length of the necklace is 46cm and the hanging cluster of chain part is approximately 9,5cm long. The size of the star is 4cm in diameter.

This is a unique piece. Like the star that you are.

*Vintage brass chain comes as "new old stock" from the legendary old Aarikka factory that was located in Helsinki's Vallila district from the 1950s until 2017. I have been able to date this chain all the way to the 1970s. The quality is amazing and the chain drapes like a dream, making it versatile and a joy to both use as a maker and wearer.
