Virginie One earrings version 6

Unique earrings from Women in Art collection, inspired by Virginie, the wonderful model in several 19th century paintings by Finnish painter Albert Edelfelt. I have loved the paintings of her since I was a young girl and here I want to imagine Virginie's jewellery style set in the 2020s.

These earrings feature a stunning antique patinated brass filigree link, *vintage brass chain, malachite green vintage Czech glass beads and vintage pearlized glass pearls, all carefully wrapped with gold fill wire. Earring hooks are entirely allergy-safe niobium.

The earrings are an odd couple and this is a unique pair.

Length of the long earring is 11cm and the shorter one 7cm.

Original, unusual and oozing artistic vintage bohemian style. An absolute joy to wear and will not be left unnoticed!

*Vintage brass chain comes as "new old stock" from the legendary old Aarikka factory that was located in Helsinki's Vallila district from the 1950s until 2017. I have been able to date this chain all the way to the 1970s. The quality is amazing and the chain drapes like a dream, making it versatile and a joy to both use as a maker and wearer.
