ARLECCHINO collection

Arlecchino, in English "Harlequin" is a magical, limited series of unique earrings, starring mesmerizing handcrafted, blown glass drops that I purchased from Venice last Summer. They have literally blown my mind with their intricate detailing, colours and shapes. The beauty of this glass touches me so that I needed a few months to just keep glancing at them and touching them, before I could make up my mind about what to create out of such treasures. 

The image of a cheerful harlequin character was flickering through my mind already as I was trying to decide what to pick at the glass factory shop. It was as if he was teasing me, knowing how agonising it was to choose from such abundance, as every travel budget also has its limits! In addition, I have always had a soft spot for Commedia dell'Arte aesthetics, so...

ARLECCHINO is a set of theatrical, dramatic and fun earrings and a few necklaces will be added later as well (have ordered additional bits for the necklaces 6 weeks ago and am still waiting). The daylight being as poor for photography as it is this time of the year, pictures fail to do full justice to how these look in real life. But you can take my for it: just gorgeous.
