Arlecchino earrings Serata

Arlecchino collection celebrates the beauty of Venetian Murano glass and the pure joy of dressing up with jewellery!

These earrings feature gorgeous handcrafted/blown Murano glass drops handpicked by yours truly from Venice last summer. A beautiful colour combination here of amethyst lilac and bright olive green with thin black lines swirling around them.

Above the drops are vintage glass beads from the 1930s, salvaged from an original Art Deco necklace that was broken from many places. Probably Czech glass, with elegant faceting and a black as deep as can possibly be. Rare treasures with only very minor signs of wear, quite acceptable for something so old.

The small black beads are spinel gemstones. Materials are carefully wrapped with gold fill wire.

Earring posts are stainless steel with black Primero chaton stones set on gold plated brass settings.

Length 8cm. Despite their size the earrings are lightweight and very comfortable to wear.
