Arlecchino necklace Mascaron green

Arlecchino collection celebrates the beauty of Venetian Murano glass and the pure joy of dressing up with jewellery!

This necklace features a gorgeous handcrafted/blown Murano glass drop handpicked by yours truly from Venice last summer. Stunningly decorated glass with intoxicating green, clear, black and slightly blueish lines wildly swirling around.

The drop is attached to an equally dramatic vintage brass stamping, featuring a highly decorated female figurine. Such decorations can be found for example in Art Nouveau buildings all over Europe and they are called mascarons. 

The double string is beaded with very thin (just 1mm) black antique (Victorian) glass tube beads, silvery shade vintage glass beads and little round black spinel gemstones. It's the blackest of blacks imaginable.

The Murano drop is wrapped with gold fill wire. Clasp is sterling silver.

Length approximately 44cm. I can add a few centimeters extra at no extra charge, if you wish to have the length more adjustable, just let me know! The green drop is 5cm long and the brass mascaron 3cm in diameter.
