Arlecchino necklace Mascaron olive/plum

Arlecchino collection celebrates the beauty of Venetian Murano glass and the pure joy of dressing up with jewellery!

This necklace features a gorgeous handcrafted/blown Murano glass drop handpicked by yours truly from Venice last summer. Stunningly decorated glass with luscious olive green, plum and thin black colour accents swirling around the pendant.

The drop is attached to an equally dramatic vintage brass stamping, featuring a highly decorated female figurine. Such decorations can be found for example in Art Nouveau buildings all over Europe and they are called mascarons. 

The double string is beaded with very thin (just 1mm) black antique (Victorian) glass tube beads, the blackest of blacks imaginable. Added are also little amethyst, pyrite and black agate gemstone beads

The Murano drop and small beads at the back are wrapped with gold fill wire. Clasp and findings are gold plated steel.

Length approximately 44cm + 3cm extention. I can also add a few centimeters more length at no extra charge, if you wish to have the necklace more adjustable, just let me know! The Murano drop is 5cm long and the brass mascaron 3cm in diameter.
