Cyanotype "Cherchez la Femme!"

Original, unique cyanotype print of a photo that I have taken from a vintage 1926 German fashion magazine "Elegante Welt".

This picture is from a fashion feature about hats. The model's gaze is bold and her stunning makeup speaks femme fatale. The blueprint adds depth to the picture, taking it out of its original context to a mysterious otherworldly existence.

The paper is 100% cotton aquarelle paper. Full size: 19cm x 14cm.

Signed "Lea Kähkönen 2024" on the back of the print.

Print is packaged in a clear cellophane pouch for protection and posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope.
