Cyanotype "Jewel" version 2

Original, unique cyanotype print of a photo that I have taken from a vintage 1926 German fashion magazine "Elegante Welt".

This picture is from a fashion feature about jewellery. The model's direct gaze is headstrong and confident, with the blueprint then taking the picture out of its original context to a dreamy, otherworldly existence.

After exposure, this print has then been further toned with tea, thus achieving this worn denim, kind of seaweed colour tone that's hard to describe but mesmerizing to look at.

The paper is 100% cotton aquarelle paper. Full size: 20cm x 15,5cm.

Display as is or frame according to your own style and taste.

Signed "Lea Kähkönen 2024" on the back of the print.

Print is packaged in a clear cellophane pouch for protection and posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope.
