Cyanotype "Mirror" version 2

Original, unique cyanotype print of a photo that I have taken from a vintage 1927 German fashion magazine "Elegante Welt".

This picture is from a fashion feature with the model standing in front of a large mirror. I love how the mirror image creates a continuity and I can almost hear the slight rattling of the shimmering beaded strands on her dress. There's something private and relaxed about this setup, with the blueprint then taking the picture out of its original context to a dreamy, otherworldly existence.

The paper is 100% cotton aquarelle paper. Full size: 19,5cm x 14cm

Signed "Lea Kähkönen 2024" on the back of the print.

Print is packaged in a clear cellophane pouch for protection and posted in a sturdy cardboard envelope.
