Vintage Murano Fiorato glass beauties from Venice for Temps Perdu collection.
These earrings feature beads so lovely it positively warms the heart: 1950s vintage Murano glass beads (size 8mm) with romantic flower decorations all over in pink, white and blue. The base colour is a golden honey with a dash of glimmery copper swirls. This style of Murano glass is called "fiorato" and although fiorato beads are still made, I was told that there are not many left who can handle this skill and also the decorations and colours on the vintage fiorato beads are more detailed and intricate.
Wrapped with gold plated brass wire, the little treasures are teamed up with Austrian Primnero crystals. The earring posts are stainless steel with rosy lilac Primero chaton stones (6mm) set on gold plated settings.
Length 3cm. Lightweight and very comfortable fit.
This vintage style floral elegance is an absolute joy to wear, bringing with it an elegant touch of romance. There is also a matching necklace available to make a perfect set. This listing is only for the earrings.
One of a kind, rare and unique piece.
