La Duchesse earrings

One of a kind, elegant treasures from Temps Perdu collection.

These unique earrings feature stunning, faceted green agate gemstones  adorned with gold tone brass beadcaps which I found from a wonderful seller at Puces de Vanves market in Paris. He had old stock from a Parisian jewellery factory that had operated from 1880s to 1950s, producing high quality, intricately detailed jewellery materials. We estimated the lovely decorative beadcaps to be Art Deco. In addition to the agate stones, there are also little moonstone beads wrapped with gold fill wire. The moonstones complement the beautiful white inclusions on the unique green agates.

Earring hooks are gold plated stainless steel. 

Full length of these earrings is 4,5cm and diameter of green stones approx. 12mm.

Unique piece. A versatile style, adding a hint of romance and timeless chic to any outfit. Very comfortable and easy to wear.
