Par Avion necklaces are an hommage to the art of handwritten letters. Different versions of the necklace plus earrings to match are available as separate listings in the BLU collection.

Fully functioning vintage brass envelope pendants! This was a first for me and I simply had to have them. The nostalgia of the era of handwritten mail, stamps and lightweight air mail stationary, messages in a bottle, secret notes, all this speaks to me so much!

For this necklace I have chosen these kind of boho, very old and slightly rugged, clearly handmade glass beads that I have salvaged from an approximately 1930s broken necklace. The depth of the blue in these beads is hypnotic and the whole piece is a bit like something that was washed away and now magically reappeared somewhere else. 

Inside the envelope I have added a small card for you with cyanotype blueprint on one side, the other side is blank white. You can write a message on it or put something else in there, the envelope is surprisingly roomy and the closure works perfectly!

A 1960s vintage brass chain is linked to the beads, with an adjustable length of 58cm+6cm extension. The length of the chain can also be adjusted further upon request, just let me know and I'll be happy to do it! The clasp and findings are gold plated steel.

Yes, this is something different and quite unique. Also, everything except the clasp is vintage, new old stock or recycled! Not to mention that it's really comfy too and lovely to wear with a beautiful colour combo that is great for layering as well.
