From the stashes of a vintage shop market in Helsinki to Fine van Brooklin and a new life in Temps Perdu and Secret Garden collections.
This beautiful vintage brooch from the 1930s is a precious find that I have now lovingly restored to its full glory. Overall the brooch was in good vintage condition, so I set out to remove the remaining clear rhinestones (half of them had already fallen off to begin with and some where discolored because of ancient repairs with different glues). I also polished the brooch entirely, and discovered that the silver plating on it is in great shape and clean. After carefully scraping off all the remains of old glue, I chose clear and erinite green Austrian Primero crystal chaton stones for the restoration project and set them one by one.
The flipside of the brooch looks nice and tidy and the needle is fully functioning and sturdy.
Length approx. 8,5cm, width at maximum 4,7cm.
I am deeply enamoured with this adorable brooch, it's almost impossible to show with pictures how lovely it is. The photos have been taken in daylight, while the video is filmed in a dimly lit room, showing the full sparkle effect that different lighting will bring out. This brooch is yearning to adorn you both for a candle lit dinner or a day out in a sunny garden! An absolutely timeless, versatile piece.
One of a kind, unique treasure, naturally.
