Secret Garden dress clip necklace

From an antique market in Berlin to Fine van Brooklin and a new life in Temps Perdu and Secret Garden collections.

This necklace features an antique Art Deco focal point that is originally, and still is a fully functioning, crystal studded dress clip. It was in great vintage condition, but tarnished and some the crystals were lost. After cleaning and polishing it, I brought back the elegant sparkle by carefully setting on it some new Swarovski chaton stones one by one. Some of the original crystals are a brown or grey colour, the new crystals that I've added are clear. This variety of colour tones creates an extra vintage atmosphere to the piece. It is not sparkly, there is just a very elegant shimmer to it

The chain is adorned with beautiful 4mm tourmaline gemstones and tiny primero crystals. Both parts of the necklace can be worn separately as well as together as pictured. The chain is vintage (previously unused) steel and the stones are wrapped with silver wire. Clasp also silver.

Size of clip 2 x 2,5cm

A dress clip such as this is a beautiful adornent on the neckline or shoulder of a garment, on a hat or as a clip to drape a scarf. It is also an absolutely stunning hair accessory.

Length of chain 48cm + 5cm extension.
